The weather varies depending on what portion of the country you are visiting and the time of year. Switzerland does have four seasons. Spring and autumn tend to be mild throughout most of the country. Summer is warm and offers a great time for outdoor activities, whereas winter is cold and snowy which is when the country gets a majority of its visitors for winter sport activities.
