When it comes to getaways, the one thing that my resort of choice needs to have is a breathtaking beach and Riu Latino delivers. The shores of Play Mujeres are beautiful and the calm, warm waters are very clean. When I travel, I prefer to stay at new resorts with modern amenities which is why I chose this hotel – the accommodations are spacious and mostly ocean view, Wi-Fi is included and the connection is strong so you can share snaps from your getaway with those at home. Trying different cuisines while I’m on vacation is also important and Riu Latino has some great options for whatever culinary mood you’re in. Finally, and this is big, the adults only services is impeccable!

Riu Latino is a fantastic choice for groups of friends and couples looking for a tropical setting with the adults only vacation experience top of mind. Whether you’re in the mood for some leisurely time together or to pack in as much fun as you can, you have opportunities for both. If lounging is your plan for paradise, unwind by the five pools, two with swim-up bars or treat yourself to some spa treatments and turn the tropics into nirvana. On the other hand, excitement is super easy to find from all the daily activities, RIU pool parties, adults only Splash Water World water park and night club right on site!

While it’s not my style (I’m a relax on the beach type gal), the water park was a big hit with guests at the resort and it’s definitely something you should check out during your getaway – it’s quite a refreshing way to spend your day! The resort is also located across from Isla Mujeres, which is easy to visit thanks to the ferry service offered just minutes from Riu Latino.
